technology newsNeo AMD platform has been created for the ultra-thin notebooks. She had to fill the gap between systems for netbooks and nettops, and those full-sized. Failed to use the nettops, netbooks, and sets all-in-one, and that is why AMD decided to meet that demand, and soon starts production of new systems, dedicated just to such devices.
AMD to allow Neo to playback high-resolution 1080p, and even play games likes of World of Warcraft and Quake. The processor has to be more efficient from the most popular at the moment Atom, not to mention the comparison of the ATI graphics card with GMA. Therefore, nettops and all-in-one can be equipped with a Blu-ray, which had not been used so far, because hardly any equipment on the atom gave this advice.
For now, AMD’s Neo is available only in Hewlett-Packard DV2Z. From September to be available from other manufacturers. Same processor is clocked 1.6GHz clock and offers from 512KB to 1MB of L2 cache. There are versions of two-and single-.
How do you describe briefly the difference between the atom and the Neo?! Intel’s product is designed for devices that have little appetite for electricity. By contrast, AMD is better power and performance, but at the expense of greater energy consumption.

Here is one of the most interesting photos hardware’uw computer recently. Asus unveiled the first pictures of the motherboard, which will include 2 USB specification 3.0! This means achieving a level of transfers to 4.8Gbps!
USB 3.0 ports are based on the NEC controller μPD720200 and are backward compatible, of course. Along with four USB 2.0 ports provide a total 6 USB ports, which should be sufficient for most users. For traditionalists also provided 2 PS / 2
The board named P6X58 Premium also find place in the processor the Intel Core i7, 6 slots for bone DDR3, 3 PCI-Express 2.0, SATA 3.0 interface allows transfers at 6Gbps, FireWire, and a number of other “goodies”. Q3 ZOOM is the first webcam that focuses more on sound than on the image. It has in fact 2 microphones, thus allowing audio recording in stereo, but can record video material with a maximum resolution of 640 × 480, which nowadays is not always enough.

What I said, I can tell you that all (read: 90%) of mobile devices are equipped with Intel Atom processor? I have also slowly is boring, but this trend already. For joins new Duros tablet 8404 with a screen suited to work in bright sunlight.
In our country tablets are not very popular. In general, I am not surprised, because why pay for something that has the same opportunities as the netbook, and since it is less convenient? Prices are virtually identical, so we all prefer small laptops. Maybe someday this will change …
But let us return to the Duros. Previous version was not too successful. Processor Celeron M 1GHz clock speeds do not give sufficient performance. This has been changing with the new model. Tablet bearing the number 8404 is nothing like and hard disk capacity of 120GB. Somewhere that you know? To be accompanied by a set of Wi-Fi, WWAN, GPS and Bluetooth, so it is really good. Unfortunately, there is only one USB port.
The screen on the 8.4-inch diagonal. Result quite impressive. For sure it will work as a convenient (for tablet). Be useful even to mention the resolution matrix, which is 800 x 600 (SVGA). Its brightness, set at 1100 nits and a viewing angle of up to 120 degrees. For adequate operation of the device will be in the old, good with Windows XP.

Do you remember a very nice nettop Acer AspireRevo? It was probably the first device using the ION platform. Now it’s time for a bit (read: a lot) better brother, but from … Gateway. Is there something I missed?!
Neither I nor you! No one missed anything. Simply Gateway brand is a … Acera. Simple is not it? And now back to the device. Differences between the two computers is not much, but those which are very significant.
First of all, in the heart Gateway’u QX2800 listed on the dual-core Atom 330, which is to give as much as 40% higher performance compared to AspireRevo. Secondly, the brain is more capacious and can now accommodate up to 500GB. Good result as the nettop.
The rest is exactly the same tale – the GeForce 9400M, Card Reader 4 in 1, WiFi, HDMI, six USB ports and Windows Vista Home Premium.
I almost forgot to add that both nettops look similar, and the price is not yet known.
